Camp Bentzon

The year 6's we went to a camp on Kawau island. We done all sort's of activities. My Favourite one was abseiling. As I was coming down it felt like my stomach was going to drop down on the ground like sploshes of rain.

Mahe Drysdale

Mahe Drysdale won New Zealand 1
bronze at the Beijing Olympics even
though he got sick! He still rowed his best!!!! Hopefully he wins us another medal at the London, England. :)

Paralympics

If your wondering if there are going to be Paralympics you are right!!!! The opening ceremony started at 11:00 last night!!! The first thing was cycling!!!

The Muddy Race

Before we started training we had to take off our shoe's and roll up our pants because the field was absolutely muddy!!! Off the girls went. We were running when our feet and legs got really muddy and dirty and everyone yelled EWWWWWW!!!. then while we were running when this enormous muddy puddle came up and 'SPLASH' it got all over my pants. So I kept on running when I saw a boy pass me so I kept on sprinting when 'SPLASH' another puddle dirted my T-shirt then I said "Oh no". I kept on running and I was nearly to the finish when al of this mud got between my toes and I yelled "EWWWWWW!!!". I got to the finish and there was a lot of girls standing in line to wash their feet. When I finished washing my feet they were extremely cold!!!

In RotoVegas

On Friday 7th December I went back to RotoVegas with my mum,dad and my brothers,Kayde and Gabriel. Before we left we went to Westfield Manukau to have some dinner. I had Mcdonalds and mum and brothers had Burger King and my dad had a spicy squid meal(YUK!). Then we left and drove back to RotoVegas. When we got to RotoVegas we went to see if my nan was home but she wasnt so we went back to my dad's house and watched "Out of the Blue". Then we had a bath and went to bed.
The next day on Saturday we went to see my Aunty Briar and Uncle Brad. Then my Aunty Bertha and Uncle Arthur came to my Auntie Briars house. Then my dad took us to the creek. We found a swimming hole so my Cuzzies came with us. 2hrs later we went home but the girls and boys split up.I stayed with my Cuzzies and my brothers stayed with my other Cuzzie.Then on Sunday we went back to Auckland.

The challange

On Friday 16th november room 16 had a challange in the hall.We had to build skytower out of newspaper and stickytape.We had groups.They were group1, group 2,group 3, group 4, group 5 and group 6. I was in group 4 with Blessing, Robin and Coltrane. We were working together in a team,we were not arguing.The challange was really difficult,tricky,messy and exhausting.We had to work together because we could win points. We won lots of points,we got 35 points and so did Feleti's group.His group was group 3. So we got a prize, it was either a twix, moro bar, lollipop or a masrhmellow puff.
But first thing in the morning we all played a game called walk the plank. You have to get in teams and walk on the planks and if you fall off you had to start again because the grass is toxic.You can either go for the twix,moro bar or the lollipops. In round Uluaki, Portia, Caleb and Faye came 1st. In the 2nd round Mokani, Folau, Huia, Ridge and Val came 1st.We came last because I kept falling off because it was so hard trying to keep your balance.
